The Friends of the Chandler Library are proud to be a partner with the City's Human Relations Commission, the sponsor of the annual Multicultural Festival in downtown Chandler. This exciting one-day event highlights the cultural diversity of our community through performance and visual art. The festival is a free, family event which brings together people of all ages and ethnic groups to experience and celebrate the arts of many cultures in a pleasant, easily accessible setting. Over the years, thousands of visitors have enjoyed the main stage performances, visual art demonstrations, children's art area, storytelling tent, marketplace, and international food court. Held annually in January, the Multicultural Festival also provides a venue for the Friends to sell used books, recruit new members and inform the community about its mission to support library programs. Stop by the Friends' booth at the Festival for more information about how to become involved with our efforts. ![]() |
