Reader (AR) Lists for Chandler Unified School District Schools

for AR books by book title, author, or topic. Most Chandler Schools are
using AR BookFinder for their AR Lists. Check with your teacher or
school librarian to see if your school subcribes to this site.
The school district's website
changed recently, and the schools that still maintain lists on their own (not
using AR BookFinder) will be adding them at some point. We will add lists
from those schools' websites as soon as possible.

Class Tours
The Chandler Public
Library offers tours and visits for students in grades K through 12.
In order to best serve your students, appointments must be made at
least 2 weeks in advance.
We are happy to work
with you in designing the very best visit possible for your students.
Getting library cards for
your students
Each student must submit to the teacher a Membership Application signed by a
parent or guardian. In order to have library cards prepared for
student groups, you should submit these applications to the
circulation desk 3 days prior to your scheduled visit. You may call 480-782-2807 for applications, or download and

Multiple Copy Book Sets for Classroom Use
Multiple Copy Book List for Grades 4 - 6
Multiple Copy Book List for Grades 7 - 12
The Library has multiple copies of many books that may be checked out by
teachers. The check out period is three weeks, with a renewal of three
weeks if there is no hold on the books. Teachers are responsible for
all books checked out on their library cards. It would help to have
more that one title in mind when you call, since other teachers may be
using a particular book. We require 24 hours notice to pull multiple copies of a book.
