No person or organization can set up a table, chair, or booth on library premises for the purpose of selling unless they are affiliated with an event sponsored by the Community Services Department, The Friends of the Library, or are a City sanctioned event, such as the Ostrich Festival.

Soliciting support or donations for a cause or signatures on a petition is permitted. However, tables, chairs, and booths used by solicitors cannot be located inside the building or on the walkway from the library parking lot to the front entrance of the building. (See shaded areas in map below.) Aggressive or harassing behavior by persons soliciting is prohibited. If a library customer indicates that they are not interested in providing their signature, petitioners shall respect their viewpoint.
