NOTE: We close the last 15 minutes of every hour for cleaning. Patrons can enter between the top of the hour and 45 minutes past, and must exit at the end of that time so that library staff can clean high touch areas.
These closing times are for the lobby. The last block of time to use other library services ends 15 minutes before closing.

What's available on a limited basis at all four Chandler library locations:
- Browsing the collection (social distancing required)
- Checking out materials
- USING COMPUTERS BY RESERVATION (stations are sanitized between customers)
- Printing, copying, scanning, and fax
- Use of open seating areas
- WiFi access
Patrons will be allowed into the library based on a percentage of building capacity.

- Basha, Hamilton, and Sunset Libraries – 25 people
Community safety is a team effort. We’re asking each guest to assist in helping us remain one healthy community.

- A face mask that fully covers your mouth and nose is required while you are visiting our buildings in accordance with CDC and Arizona Health Department guidelines
- Follow the 6-foot rule. Respect each other's space and use your best efforts to keep 6-feet away from your neighbors at all times.

Hold picks up areas continue to be available at all locations and do not count toward the building capacity limits. Customers are encouraged to place holds through the online catalog or call our call center at 480-782-2800 for assistance. Visit chandlerlibrary.org for more information.
When can I pick up my holds?
New holds can be placed on items via library catalog or by calling 480-782-2800. You will be notified when items are ready for pick up and you will have one week to pick up your holds after receiving that notification.Please check your account to verify that your hold is in Held status before you come to the library.

Where can I pick up my holds?
All four Chandler Public Libraries will be open for holds pickup. You may pick up your holds at the location specified in your request. You must have your valid Chandler Public Library card or ID to check out the materials on hold. Please have your card ready as you approach the checkout station at your branch. We also ask that you please wear a mask.
Can I pick up holds for others?
You must have the Chandler Public Library card associated with holds to be picked. For example, if a family member(s) has asked you to pick up their holds, they should give you their library card.
What safety precautions is the Library taking?
Sneeze guards and social distancing markers have been installed at all locations to minimize exposure. Staff have been provided with protective equipment and supplies to also minimize risks.
