Read and unwind this summer with your library! The library has reading material of all sorts, from books and audiobooks to interactive children’s books to ebooks and magazines you can take with you on your smartphone or tablet - perfect if you’re packing for those summer trips!
Cloud Library is our ebook service, featuring both ebooks and audio ebooks. Download the free Cloud Library app for Android, iOS, computer/laptop or Kindle Fire, and start checking out! You can have ten books checked out at a time and they return themselves automatically after two weeks - no late fines! Take a peek at the Featured ebooks page for suggestions including new arrivals, most popular, “Hidden Gems” (titles that haven’t checked out as often) and favorites from a staff member of the month. You can also browse by category or search by title or author.
Are magazines more your style? Get full-page issues of your favorites from Zinio, and check out as many as you like for as long as you want - there are no due dates! Create a free account using your library card, check out magazines from the library’s website and sync them with the Zinio for Libraries app for Android or iOS to take them on the go.
We’ve got choices for kids, too! Tumblebook Library offers multimedia children’s books - with pictures, text and audio that can read along with your child. For kids from first to eighth grade. Sign in with your library card and PIN, and enjoy Tumblebooks on any computer.
Looking for reading suggestions? Check out our Books page, with featured book lists and other resources. Our LibraryReads lists showcase new books that librarians across the country love. Take a look at our More Than Books blog for book reviews and other library highlights. And if you want suggestions for kids, visit our age-related pages for 0-5, Kids and Teens.
Don’t forget the Summer Reading Program. Kids, teens and adults can read for prizes, from June 1 to August 1.
