March means Spring Break! The Cover to Cover Spring Reading Program for kids age 4-12 starts March 2. There are also events for kids, teens and even adults - no passport required!
Our Spring Reading Program starts March 2 for kids ages 4-12. Sponsored by In-N-Out Burger®, kids can sign up for the “Cover to Cover Club” by dropping in at the library and asking for a reading log. Reading five books earns one certificate with a coupon for a free hamburger or cheeseburger at In-N-Out Burger®, and each child can earn up to three certificates. The program is available until April 13, while supplies last.
Spring has sprung and so has Minute to Win It, in this special spring edition on Friday, March 15 at 2 p.m. at the Hamilton Library. Kids and teens ages 6 to 17 can see if they can use their wit and skill as their team is pitted against other teams to try and become minute to win it champs. Prizes will be awarded. Visit our website to register.
Spring is the right time for outdoor hobbies, and adults who are interested in doing something new outdoors are invited to Mushrooming Arizona for Beginners. Our local expert, Bill Warner of the Arizona Mushroom Society, will talk safety and science surrounding this fascinating hobby on Saturday, March 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the Basha Library.
