Before She Knew Him brings us a story about a woman who thinks/knows that her next door neighbor is a murderer. However, based on previous events in her past, no one takes her seriously. This story is dark, twisted and sinister. I usually don’t read things this dark, but for some reason, this didn’t bother me. It fit into the story so well.
I have been a fan of Peter Swanson since The Kind Worth Killing and always look forward to reading something new by him. This one did not disappoint. The only reason I would give it four stars out of five is that I figured out the story early on. But now I'm wondering, were we supposed to figure it out? - Rosanna (Admin)
