Science fair season is coming up! We might not be sure what science fairs will look like this time around, but you can be sure that your library has the information you need! Science in Context features articles on science topics from aerodynamics to zoology, biographies of scientists, and an entire category for science projects and experiments.
To access Science in Context, start at chandlerlibrary.org and choose the Research & Learning tab. Then choose A-Z List of Resources and scroll down to choose Science in Context. You’ll need your library card and PIN if you’re signing in from home. Then you can do a basic search for your subject or scroll down to browse popular topics. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Browse All Topics" to view the entire list including Science Fair Projects and Experiments.
Looking for books for your K-4 student, too? Basha Library users can request Research Bundles, and we'll pull up to 5 physical items for you to come in and pick up. Just visit this form, log in with your library card and PIN numbers, then tell us about the project you need to research. (Basha Library only.)
Can’t make it in to the library to get a card? We now offer eCards that allow access to our online resources, including Science in Context! If you’re a Maricopa County resident, you can fill out the online form to register for your eCard. See more at our Get a Library Card page. eCard users can come in to the library at any time to upgrade to a full-access card that allows checkout of books and other physical materials.
